Condition Report

Sheet is discolored throughout, likely the result of being framed directly against acidic board. Sheet is crinkled and creased heavily along top and bottom edges and corners. There are three discolored and brittle tape remnants along top edge. Sheet is hinged to mat window via two pieces of tape at top edge. This print was part of the Museum of Modern Art’s Art Lending Service program (1951-1975). Margit Chanin Gallery (the gallery that provided this print to Moma) participated in the ALS program from 1964-1975). Approximately 10-15 printed by the artist, an unknown edition size printed posthumously by Maria Marc, also an edition printed in 1984 by Otto Stangl, Munich.
