Condition Report

This untitled work painted circa 1865 is an oil on canvas signed lower right. The work has various areas of inpainting, repairs (with patches) are identifiable en verso. An underlayer of canvas was used to strengthen the original and a ¼” strip of wood was added to the original stretcher so as to tighten the overall appearance. The signature does not fluoresce under blacklight.
