Condition Report
This painting is number 436 in the Record of Works by Winslow Homer. The painting is in very good condition. It is not signed. Bears Macbeth label on verso as well as other small labels. No evidence of inpainting or restoration under black light. Cut canvas has been flush mounted to Masonite board. There appears to be three initials on the back of the Masonite board (possibly RWM, but difficult to read). Both bottom corners show minimal wear from having rubbed against the frame liner.
