Condition Report

Signed lower left recto. This work is in very good condition with an extraordinary amount of detail noted in the sun, sky and foreground. Colors made more vibrant by the use of a taupe sky. Surface appears clean and stable. Two isolated areas of minor retouch noted in the sky. A single area of craquelure is barely evident in the lower right quadrant. Titled in pencil on stretcher verso "SUNDOWN".
